Every year the Toy Retailers Association creates a list of 12 dream toys for that year based on market research etc. Last year in the official dream toys:

By far Go Pet Hamsters were the number one seller, but what will be in this years Top 10 Christmas Gifts / Toys 2010? The dream toys list will not be released until the 27th of October this year. However certain toys are already showing signs of possibly being in the list. We've all heard that Stinky The Garbage Truck, Jet Pack Buzz Lightyear and the new Hamsters are going to be big news this year, but what else might be there? With the release of Toy Story 3 and with the introduction of Lots O' Hugging Bear - the interactive, strawberry smelling bear from the film, it looks as though Lots O' will be very popular this year. Also giving signs of being popular, is the Video Camera. Last year the Digital Camera was in the dream toys list for 2009 and it looks as though it may well make it into 2010's list as well. Appearing in Woolworth's predictions lists for 2010, this brand new video camera is packed with features such as: a 2.0 megapixel resolution, 4x digital zoom, internal memory and a 1.8" colour TFT screen.
Although they are showing signs of being very popular this year, will the make it into the List For 2010? We'll have to wait until the 27th October to find out.
